Barrow & Cook is a long established firm of solicitors who have been in business for over 200 years.

We were the first law firm in St Helens town centre when James Pickering and John Barnes opened an office on Liverpool Road in 1815 trading as 'Pickering & Barnes'.

John Barnes was later joined by John Barrow and the firm became known as 'Barnes Barrow' until the arrival of Robert Cook when the firm was renamed 'JB Barrow & R Cook' (later becoming 'Barrow & Cook') and we are still known by that name today.

From our offices at Victoria Square in the heart of St Helens town centre (premises we have occupied since 1901) we continue to operate as a traditional high street practice offering a personal service to our clients, backed up by our vast experience and expertise in the law, and combined with the latest modern technology.

Barrow & Cook also have an Estate Agency division and we can offer the complete 'one stop shop' when it comes to selling your house.
